General Guidelines:
Well, we don't have many, but here are some of the rules of the forum:- The ScottishMini forum is family friendly, so no 'adult' material is allowed in posts. That includes everything: images, links, text etc. And applies to all areas of the forum.

Forum Specific Guidelines:
For Sale:
- All threads have to follow the template (below)
- When submitted threads are placed into a moderation queue to be verified before they appear on the forum (please give 24 hours before enquiring as to the status of threads)
- Replies are disabled in the For Sale forum to prevent spam and 'bump' posting. This ensures a concise and neat forum and fair exposure for every advert.

How To Post Pics:
Before you can post a picture on the forum you have to have it hosted on the internet somewhere, you cannot post a pic that's on your hard drive. There are lots of sites that offer this service for free, simply type search for "Free Image Hosting" on Google.
Once you have hosted the image you need to copy its url (the url of the image, not the page it's on) and either paste it between [img][/img] tags or click on the 'Insert Image' button ( ) in the editor and paste the url in the dialog box.
Preview your post before you submit it to make sure you've got it right.

How To Edit Your Signature:
Putting an image in your signature is different from above because the images are hosted on the ScottishMini site. However it's no more difficult to do:
Under the "Forum Links" tab, select "Edit Signature":
In the "Upload signature picture" box use option 2 to pick a file from your computer which you want to upload. Click the browse button to choose the file.
Once you have chosen your image choose "Upload" to put the picture onto the site's server.
This is the important part - to make the picture appear in your signature, click "Insert signature picture". This will put a pair of [sigpic][/sigpic] tags in your signature, unlike most other tags on the forum, nothing is meant to go between them so you don't need to edit them in any way.
Finally, click "Save Signature" or "Preview Signature" to make sure it looks how it should.
And you're done!
